She is shown as the protector God using her wings as protection against those wanting to do harm. Isis is popular even today with plenty of people relying on her guidance and wisdom. Often, Isis is used as a centrepiece on Kemet altar. In some traditions she is also known as Auset or Aset. The cycle of stories known once the Osirian Resurrection was just about the most important part of Ancient Egyptian myth. The myth for the death of Osiris and his resurrection by Isis became the foundation for the faith for the Egyptian people confirming their belief in a life after death.
